Social evenings take place on the first Friday of the month, when possible. Usually, we arrange an extra activity or activities to go with the social evening – details are shown below. Note that social evenings finish at 10.30pm – so to make it a longer evening, please arrive in good time.
Friday 4th December 2015 Come to Jordan Hill for pre-Christmas drinks, and IVC Singers - come and see our "5 Oh's and the Ho ho ho's". We will be socialising with a chat, and a mince pie to get you in the mood for the festivities. You can even get your Christmas party tickets! Directions to OUP Centre: Coming from Oxford, take the Banbury Road right up to the ring road. Continue straight ahead into Banbury Road North. After approx 1/3 mile turn left into Jordan Hill. Continue straight on, through a set of gates to where the car park and building are. Enter the building via a small door in the side of the building nearest to the car park; go upstairs and turn left.

We usually have a pub night each month at The Plough at Wolvercote (pictured left). We usually meet in the Library Room in this popular village pub. Meals, if required, are ordered at the bar up to 9.00pm. Our next pub nights here will be : Fridays December 18th, January 8th, January 29th at 8:00pm. Bus no.6 from city centre outside the Randolph, to Woodstock Road stop by First Turn. Then walk left into First Turn and cross the railway works by pedestrian footbridge, walk downhill 300 yards to The Plough on the corner. Limited parking in road. PLEASE NOTE: railway engineering works at the bridge mean that First Turn is closed. An alternative route is via Godstow Road off the Wolvercote roundabout.
